Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb whole wheat pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese low-fat or part-skim
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Add or subtract any other healthy toppings you'd like to customize your pizza!

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F
  • Lightly oil a baking sheet or pizza pan and stretch the pizza dough to fit the pan.
  • Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edge.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the tomato sauce.
  • In a bowl, toss the diced bell pepper, sliced black olives, sliced mushrooms, sliced red onion, minced garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  • Spread the vegetable mixture over the cheese, making sure to cover the entire pizza.
  • Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
