I found these two easy energy-boosting smoothies on Tumblr. Give them a try I know I will.

Pre-Game Boost

This smoothie is packed with vitamins and is a great source of energy. I also read that many athletes drink it as a sort of “pre-game” regimen when they need to give their best performance.


4-5 strawberries

Handful of raspberries

1 banana

3-4 slices of fresh pineapples

4 oz of orange juice

A few ice cubes


Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Lean Green

This is a really healthy and delicious smoothie that can be had at any time but if you drink it before a work out it not only wakes you up and gives you energy but it doesn’t weigh you down either.


2 slices of melon

Handful of fresh mint

½ bag fresh spinach

½ a mango

¼ a cucumber

4 oz apple juice

2 tbsp plain yogurt

A few ice cubes


Blend spinach until it’s reduced. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth.
