Here are a few small and random tidbits of information I’ve acquired recently. Keep in mind if you try these that whiter teeth don’t happen overnight but with a little patience results will show.

I’m sure you know that baking soda can whiten your teeth but did you know that strawberries can also?
It’s so simple it’s ridiculous. You can either slice it and run it across your teeth, mash it up and smear it on your teeth, or mix it into a paste with some baking soda for an extra boost.
Another little trick you can try is adding a drop of lemon juice to your toothbrush and thoroughly brushing your teeth.I wouldn’t advise doing this daily as the acids of lemons are very harsh and could eat away at your enamel but maybe once every week or two would be good.
Crunchy foods such as apples, carrots, celery, and pears are a great easy way to get rid of food residues in and around your teeth. When the foods are broken up the little pieces rub against your teeth and remove the residues that could become cavities and stains.
If you, like me, are not fond of drinking water but do understand it’s benefits, then be ready to add another reason to your long list of “just suck it up and drink it”.
Drinking water immediately after eating and/or consuming sugary drinks can aid in fighting tooth discoloration. Simply swish the water around your mouth to assure that food and residue from the drinks aren’t left behind.
